It has been raining non stop at Koonorigan for weeks now and I have never seen the coffee look healthier! All the trees have beautiful green glossy leaves on them with some of them carrying quite a bit of cherry. We had a bumper season last year and as a general rule, the following year produces a smaller yield. This is not the case on the trees in the front paddock that I stumped last year (cut off around half way) these have produced a lot of new wood growing upwards to the previous height. This technique has been a success as these trees are now producing a huge amount of cherry.
